Karen Burke joined the firm in January of 2005 as an associate. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Burke was a law clerk to the Honorable James McGirr Kelly of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She was an associate in the litigation department of Crowell & Moring, LLP located in Washington, D.C., and was an Adjunct Professor at George Washington University, The National Law Center. Her practice focuses on all aspects of residential real estate transactions and she has experience in both civil and criminal litigation.

Community Involvement:

Ms. Burke is a member of the Board of Directors for Grace Preschool, and is an active member of the Parent Teachers Organizations at her children’s schools.

Personal:

Ms. Burke moved to the Vineyard in 2001. She has two children, and enjoys running, hiking and gardening.
