Jennifer S. Rako, a resident of Chatham, Massachusetts, is Counsel for Reynolds, Rappaport, Kaplan & Hackney, LLC. Her practice is exclusively focused in estate planning and administration. Ms. Rako joined the firm in 2005. Prior to moving her practice to the Cape and Island, Ms. Rako was a partner at Murtha, Cullina, a firm with offices in Connecticut and Massachusetts. A graduate of Northeastern University School of Law, Ms. Rako spent her early years of practice at the international firm of Kirkpatrick & Lockhart.
Ms. Rako has extensive experience preparing wills, various trusts, powers of attorney and health care proxies. She also advises clients with respect to family gift planning, planning for incapacity, charitable giving and prenuptial agreements. In addition to probating estate matters, Ms. Rako appears in probate court on petitions for conservatorships, guardianships and adoptions. She is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, Connecticut and New York.

Community Involvement:
Ms. Rako serves as Secretary of the Cape Cod Academy Parents Association in Osterville, Massachusetts. She also works to battle breast and ovarian cancer through the annual Dance Designs of Hyannis benefit Dancing for a Cure.
